How it works:

When someone tries to access your Wink and fails a specific number of times, the device will enter a temporary lockout state. During this time, the Wink will not respond to further attempts, ensuring that your home remains secure even if someone is trying to bypass the system.

Setting up the Security Lockout feature

You can customize exactly how many attempts can be made before the lockout kicks in. Here is how to configure it:

1. Open your app and go to Settings.

2. Tap on Security Lockout.

3. Configure the number of attempts: Choose the limit that feels right for you (for example, 5 failed attempts).

4. Tap Apply to save your new security rule.
